Hi. My name is Milan and welcome to my blog. I’m a Foundational Black American and New York City based program manager, writer, artist, and energy healer. I’m also a woman who runs with the wolves, IYKYK.
This space is a curation of lifestyle, art, culture, and creative expression through storytelling. In my culture, family and community history and wisdom were often passed down orally over generations through fictional and non-fictional stories and reflections. This dates all the way back to my African ancestry from various ethnic groups in the Mother Land.
As a kid, I loved stories from books, people, and other formats whether they were real or make believe. It was and still is my favorite way to consume information, learn about people and life, learn about myself, and teach others. I value and hone my style of storytelling to teach, remind, inspire, entertain, empower, and call for action.
